There are lots of ways to make money online…but one of the best ways is by having your own product. A lot of people think it is hard to create a product, but it really can be easy if you use one of my favorite techniques-teleseminars.
A teleseminar is basically an interview that you conduct over the phone. You don’t need a lot of fancy equipment and it doesn’t cost a lot of money…the technology is pretty easy to learn. That is why it works so well for home based internet marketing businesses!
A teleseminar can be a single event, but you will get better results if you conduct a series. In your series you will be interviewing experts in your niche on a variety of subjects. These experts will promote your series…which lets you grow your list.
Sounds good for you, but what is in it for the expert…why would they be willing to be interviewed by you? And why would they promote the interview to their list? Truth is, they want to sell more of their products and because you are doing a series of calls, not only will people on THEIR list learn about the call, but so will the subscribers for every other person you are interviewing! They get more exposure and therefore more sales…even though you don’t have a list when you start!
You are going to record the interview. This will allow you to create a product (or two or three!) and you can also give a copy of the recording to each expert. They can use that recording however they want. They might give it away, post it on their website, convert it into a product they can sell…whatever!
Getting good content
Let’s say your series consists of interviews with 10 different experts. Ask each expert questions that people interested in the topic might ask. Put yourself in the listener’s shoes…what do they want to learn? Be a good listener and you will be a good interviewer! If you have to, pretend you don’t know much about the topic…if the expert uses fancy terminology, or if something isn’t clear…ask them to explain their thoughts more fully.
After the interview you now take that recording and make your own products from it. You might make a series of downloadable MP3s that people can listen to on their iPods. Have the recordings transcribed and you can sell the transcripts. You can also convert the transcripts into a series of articles and even an ebook.
Now you see how teleseminars can be used for home based internet marketing businesses! You quickly have not just one product-but several products you can market to your new list and use to grow your list even larger!
